This is why the city was also known as the city of love. During your time there, you will have the opportunity to walk around this ancient city and unfold its history. More precisely, you will be able to observe the ancient agora, roman baths, the temple of Aphrodite, the theatre, the stadium, and many more.

The city experienced two massive earthquakes during the 4th and 7th centuries, resulting in its abandonment. After lunch, we drive in the direction of Buldan situated in the hillsides of the Denizli province of Turkey, close to the natural springs of the famous Pamukkale, lies the town of Buldan (pronounced bull-done).
As with many regions in Turkey, Buldan has an extensive history dating back to its settlement in 1200BC. From ancient Roman ruins to traditional practices and ways of life, Buldan is rich in culture and tradition. One of the most impressive lasting influences on Buldan’s history is the development of the town’s weaving and textile industry. After the visit to Buldan, we will transfer you back to Pamukkale, during the afternoon.
