The most important tourism city Cappadocia, which introduces Turkey to the world, takes its name from the Persian language. It comes from Katpatuka, “The Land of Beautiful Horses.” It is a natural wonder that has taken its present shape with the soft layers of lava and ashes erupted by Erciyes, Hasandağı and Melendiz Mountains millions of years ago, by rain and wind for years. If you have not seen this miraculous place yet, we can say that you have missed a lot. We can revive some of what we will see with pictures and texts, and we may have dreams. But we don’t think this will be as impressive as traveling J We invite you to our Cappadocia green tours with professional guidance in order not to miss any details on your trip.

This underground city, is one of the most adrenaline-filled sections of the Cappadocia Green Tour with its ventilation, school, church, barn, water wells etc. You will go on a time journey in places where thousands of people can live at the same time centuries ago, and you will be surprised a little more at each section and floor as you walk.

Day 3
Ihlara Valley

Our next stop is Ihlara valley. We will walk to the village of Belisırma from the shore of the Melendiz river, with many steps that you cannot count on this deep valley, which is one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, and we will also stop at the Ağaçaltı Church. It is one of the 10th and 13th century churches. During this journey, which takes about 3.5 km and 1 hour, if you have come in its season, you will see trees with fruits and rest your soul with the peaceful sound of the river. Don’t think “how do I get the stairs up again?” Because Belisırma is the exit from Ihlara Valley. 

Day 4
Belisırma Village

After a long walk, a great local food break by the river! Belisırma village is more colorful in summer or spring season. While having your lunch in the barracks built on the river, you’ll rest your feet in the water.

Day 5
Selime Monestery

On the green tour, our next stop after the meal is Selima Monastery. It is the oldest monastery in Cappadocia and also one of the first bases of Christianity. In the monastery we will see areas such as the school of missionaries and a church. This monastery is one of the most photogenic places in Cappadocia. It looks just like an eagle’s nest on steep cliffs. There are even those who say that Star Wars was filmed here. 
