We meet you at Dalaman airport and take you to your hotel in Kayakoy. Once arrived and checked in you will have time for a swim in the pool.
After breakfast, we start our trekking which will be 8km or 4 miles. We will walk from the door through the adjacent ghost village of Kayakoy, whose original Greek inhabitants were expelled in 1923. An eerie climb past abandoned schools and frescoed churches takes you high above the village for shimmering views of Aegean bays below. After a panoramic picnic, descend through pines to a ruined church on the shore of a crystal lagoon, which is as well a perfect swimming spot to spend some time. We will be transferred back to our hotel from that spot.
After breakfast, we start our trekking which will be 15km or 8 miles. Today those are your first steps on the Lycian Way that does take you above perfect beaches past holly oak and strawberry trees. After cresting a saddle, you wind through a scented pine forest alive to the drone of honeybees, before picnicking by poplar and plane trees under Baba Dag – ‘Father Mountain’. A steady descent through villages laced with vineyards brings you to your hotel in Faralya in time for a swim and a chilled drink
Faralya village is set on ancient terraces above Turkey’s famous Butterfly Valley. Today you have the possibility of an optional 2-3 hour walk down to the shores and to a place where you can swim in the sea. Or relax at the hotel, an environment which has been created with tranquility and relaxation very much in mind.
After breakfast, we start our trekking which will be 13km or 7 miles. You follow the Lycian Way winding south from Faralya through thyme and oleander rich terraces to Kabak Gorge on the flank of Baba Dag mountain. A beautiful pine-shaded route leads you through this spectacular chasm before a hillside picnic gives turquoise bay views far below. On reaching Alinca – a veritable eagle’s eyrie – relax with a drink before your transfer to Patara.
Patara was a giant among Roman trading ports, as big as Ephesus, though today only partially excavated. Half buried by giant sand dunes, you can see broken mosaics, pottery, and columns scattered between bathhouses, theatres, and marble streets. Just beyond the ruins is an amazing long beach, perfect for picnics and swimming.
After breakfast, we start our trekking which will be 13km or 7 miles. From Patara, you will rejoin the Lycian Way skirting the fertile Xanthos Valley on an easy red earth track through daphne bushes, leading to a fabulously preserved Roman aqueduct with views of Kalkan Bay. After a picnic under shady olive trees, continue through maquis and pines with bee-eaters and cicadas for company, before the descent to a village cafe and a transfer to your in Patara.
After breakfast and check out we transfer you back to Dalaman Airport.

For Direct Customers
There are so many adventures waiting for you, by reservation, 30% of the total cost is due once the trip and cost have been approved by both parties. The full amount may also be paid at this time. The remaining balance is due upon arrival/check-in. This applies to any of the seasons and guarantees the trip.
For Travel Agencies
Moonstar Tour requires full payment of the tour at the time of reservation once the trip and cost have been approved by both Moonstar Tour and the Travel Agency. This applies to any of the seasons and guarantees the blocking of the trip.
The deadline for canceling a reservation is as follows:
If payment is made and the customer, due to outside circumstances, cannot make the trip, the reservation can be postponed, without penalty charges, and can be rescheduled at a later date. No changes can be made to the original reservation upon rescheduling.
Deadlines for cancellation with a refund: One (1) week prior to the date of your tour
Last Minute Cancelations
Full payments or deposits will not be reimbursed for last-minute cancellations by either direct customers or travel agencies.
In the event of a No-Show by either a Direct Customer or Travel Agency, no refund shall be given.
In case of fortuitous events or Acts of God, management will assess the situation and decide upon a course of action. If a reimbursement or discount is agreed upon, the amount will return within the time specified by management. The Direct Customer or Travel Agency is responsible for all/any bank charge that may apply to the transaction.
Reservations will be guaranteed within the down payment for Direct Customers or full payment for Travel Agencies. We accept electronic money transfers, bank deposits, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

After verifying the information, our sales staff will book the reservation.
For reservations during High Season, fifteen (15) business days are required to allow for payment processing after the final quote is agreed upon.
For reservations during the Low Season, five (5) business days are required to allow for payment processing after the final quote is agreed upon.
All confirmed reservations with our office, for both Travel Agencies and Direct Customers, will be sent an e-mail containing the trip description, the total cost with the down payment reflected, and a copy of our company policy in regards to cancellation, no show, date changes, etc.
The process for refunding a deposit is as follows:
In the event of a refund, the Direct Customer or Travel Agency is responsible for covering any bank charges. 10% of the total payment will be withheld to cover this cost.
The Customer or Travel Agency must submit a written request for a refund along with the reason(s) for the reservation cancellation. Please specify the account number to which the money shall be refunded and the name under which the reservation was made.
Please allow 5 to 8 business days to process the refund request.
If the cancellation of the reserve corresponds to an event, it will be done according to the specifications and conditions agreed by both parties in the contract.
