Day 1
Day 1: Welcome to Istanbul

You will arrive to Istanbul Atatürk Airport. You will be welcomed by our driver and will be transferred to your hotel. You will stay in a hotel in Istanbul and on your first day you will be free in order to have a rest.

Day 2
Day 2: Old Istanbul

The tour will begin at 09.00 after breakfast at the hotel.

You will see the Byzantine Hippodrome. This place was famous as the heart of Constantinople, and also hosted many political, sportive events. You will also visit one of the most well-known places in the city; elegant Blue Mosque. The Blue Mosque with its six elegant minarets and more than 20.000 blue Iznik tiles, has a magnificent interior design. Then you will take a break for lunch. You will taste traditional, delicious and healthy Turkish dishes. The next destination is Topkapı Palace. It was once the palace of the Ottoman sultans and now it is home to an extraordinary collection including the tile porcelain, artworks and brilliant Topkapı Diamond jewelery. After Topkapı Palace, you will discover the famous Grand Bazaar where you can shop. You will be able to buy antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry and a wide variety of fabrics from the Grand Bazaar with some bargain. After Grand Bazaar visitation we will take you back to your hotel. (Accommodation charge is included)

Day 3
Day 3: Half day Bosphorus tour

You will be picked up from your hotel around 08:30 (or 13:00). You will visit the Rüstem Paşa Mosque, which was built by Mimar Sinan and decorated with the best examples of Turkish tiles. Afterwards, you will go on a short tour of the Egyptian Bazaar, built in 1664 and full of flavors of the exotic East such as spices, dried fruits, Turkish delight. The most important visiting place of the day will be the Bosphorus tour with a public boat. You will see the most impressive views of the Bosphorus, including Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Maiden Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anatolian castles and Ottoman Houses on the tour, which lasts about an hour and a half. The boat has open and closed areas, it is comfortable on both sunny and rainy days. We will drop you off at your hotel around 12:00 (or 17:30). (Accommodation charge is included)

Day 4
Day 4: Arrival Trabzon - Sumela Monastery

You will arrive Trabzon Airport in the morning, after meeting with the guide you will go to Sumela Monastery. After parking the tour vehicle at the hillside of the hill where the monastery was built, you have lunch in a restaurant and then walk for 30 minutes on a narrow walkway covered with pine trees. After visiting the monastery, you can go to Trabzon and spend the rest of the day freely. Dinner and your stay will be in Trabzon.

Day 5
Day 5: Trabzon

Before going to Atatürk Museum you will visit Ayasophia Church. When your visitations complited in Trabzon you will set out to go to Rize and the Black Sea will accompany you on the Road. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit a tea factory and go back to Trabzon. Dinner and your stay will be in Trabzon.

Day 6
Day 6: Trabzon - Erzurum

On your way to Erzurum, you will leave the Black Sea coast and go to the inner regions. When you arrive Erzurum, you will have lunch. The city is Turkey’s highest city with 1853 m altitude. More importantly, the best examples of Selcuk architecture can be seen here. After visiting Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Rüstem Pasha Bedesten, Ulu Mosque and Double Minaret Madrasa, we will check in the hotel where you will spend the night. Dinner and your stay will be in Erzurum.

Day 7
Day 7: Ani - Kars

You will go to Ani after breakfast. The history of Ani dates back to the 5th Century. It became the capital of Armenia in 806. You will go to the center of Kars in order to visit Kars Castle after compliting your visitations in Ani. You will stay in Kars Hotel where Nobel Prized author Orhan Pamuk wrote his book, Snow. You will have dinner in Kars.

Day 8
Day 8: Doğubeyazıt - Van

Today you will visit İshak Pasha Palace. The palace was built in the late 18th Century. Later you will go to the south of Van. Next, you will visit Ararat where the Ark of Noah landed.

Ararat has 2 hills: Greater Ararat (5165 m) and Little Ararat (3925 m). You will visit Muradiye waterfalls on the way. Dinner and your stay will be in Kars.

Day 9
Day 9: Van

You will visit Van Castle and Museum after an enjoyable breakfast. Later, you will have lunch in a local restaurant and you will see Hosap Castle and Cavustepe. Dinner and your stay will be in Van.

Day 10
Day 10: Akdamar Church- Hasankeyf - Midyat

You will get up early and visit the Akdamar Church. On the way, you will visit Hasankeyf, the capital of the Artuklu Seljuks in the period 1102-1232. It is known for its structure and ruins. The ruins on both sides of the Tigris River will be flooded upon after the completion of Ilusu Dam. Although the original founders of the settlement are unknown, the researchers state that nearby caves were also used in prehistoric times. Dinner and your stay will be in Midyat.

Day 11
Day 11: Mardin - Şanlıurfa

We leave Midyat and drive to Mardin over the Tigris Bridge. You will visit the Mar Gabriel Monastery at the hillside of Mardin. We will stop for lunch at Mardin, then we will travel a little more to Şanlıurfa, where you will spend the night. Dinner and your stay will be in Şanlıurfa.

Day 12
Day 12: Harran - Göbekli Tepe

It is hard to believe that this small settling was once an important economical, religious and cultural center.

When we finish Harran visitation, we will go back to Sanliurfa in order to see Abraham’s Pool and his birth place. You will have a lunch in a local restaurant. Later, you will see the most important place of this tour: Göbeklitepe. The excavations has been continuing without interruption since 1995. It shows that Göbeklitepe is a cult center built by humanity and dated 12,000 years ago. It consists of approximately 20 round and oval structures reaching 30 m in diameter. 6 of them have been identified in excavations and others in geomagnetic causes. Excavation and research results have shown that Göbeklitepe is a large meeting center. There are monumental structures built for daily living spaces and ceremonial purposes. Dinner and your stay will be in Sanliurfa.

Day 13
Day 13: Nemrut Mountain

After breakfast you will go to Sanliurfa. You will have lunch in Sanliurfa. Next, you will go to Kahta. You will be able to stop in order to have fresh air. Before 500 meters walking, you will visit To the majestic tomb monument of Antiochus I. In the evening we will take you to your hotel. Dinner and your stay will be in Kahta.

Day 14
Day 14: Journey to Cappadocia

Today you are making a long but enjoyable trip to Cappadocia; the land of fairies. On the way, we will stop at Kahramanmaraş, a city famous for its ice cream. You will walk the streets of the city and visit the Archeology Museum. You will have lunch at a local restaurant and continue driving along the Silk Road. Dinner and your stay will be in Cappadocia.

Day 15
Day 15: Kapadokya

You will see the Dervent valley where the rock formations of Cappadocia are magnificent. A walk through the Zelve Open Air Museum, a journey to the past with troglodyte houses. This is the oldest settlement in Cappadocia and one of the last abandoned monastery settlements. After Zelve, you will visit the “fairy chimneys” of Paşabağ, where the sound of the wind is compatible with the songs of the fairies. Then you will see traditional ceramic workshop in Avanos, the center of terracotta art since 2000 BC. After lunch in Avanos, you will visit the famous Göreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. You will visit rock churches with frescoes and paintings from the 10th century. We will complete the tour by visiting Uçhisar Kaya Castle. Dinner and your stay will be in Cappadocia.

Day 16
Day 16: Kapadokya

Our first stop is a typical Cappadocian village with different style rock tombs and frescoes. You will see Soganli Valley. It is an open air museum in a natural environment. After that, you will pass through pristine Cappadocian villages surrounded by mountains to go to Mustafapasha. On the way, you will visit Keslik Monastery, near Cemil village. Its frescoes can only be seen with torch light. After lunch in an old Greek house hosted by a local family in Mustafapasha, you will go to the center of the world with a trip to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia’s many settlements. Dinner and your stay will be in Istanbul.

Day 17
Day 17: İSTANBUL

The last day is your free day. We will transfer you to the Istanbul Airport. We hope that the tour will be an unforgettable experience for you. Thank you for choosing us.
