You will arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. You will be welcomed by our driver and will be transferred to your hotel. You will stay in a hotel in Istanbul and on your first day you will be free in order to have a rest.
The tour will begin at 09.00 after breakfast at the hotel.
You will see the Byzantine Hippodrome. This place was famous as the heart of Constantinople and also hosted many political, and sportive events. You will also visit one of the most well-known places in the city; the elegant Blue Mosque. The Blue Mosque with its six elegant minarets and more than 20.000 blue Iznik tiles, has a magnificent interior design. Then you will take a break for lunch. You will taste traditional, delicious, and healthy Turkish dishes. The next destination is Topkapı Palace. It was once the palace of the Ottoman sultans and now it is home to an extraordinary collection including the tile porcelain, artworks, and brilliant Topkapı Diamond jewelry. After Topkapı Palace, you will discover the famous Grand Bazaar where you can shop. You will be able to buy antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry, and a wide variety of fabrics from the Grand Bazaar with some bargains. After Grand Bazaar visitation we will take you back to your hotel.
You will be picked up from your hotel around 08:30 (or 13:00). You will visit the Rüstem Paşa Mosque, which was built by Mimar Sinan and decorated with the best examples of Turkish tiles. Afterward, you will go on a short tour of the Egyptian Bazaar, built-in 1664 and full of flavors of the exotic East such as spices, dried fruits, and Turkish delight. The most important visiting place of the day will be the Bosphorus tour on a public boat. You will see the most impressive views of the Bosphorus, including Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Maiden Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anatolian castles, and Ottoman Houses on the tour, which lasts about an hour and a half. The boat has open and closed areas, it is comfortable on both sunny and rainy days. We will drop you off at your hotel.
After early pick up and drop off at the airport you will arrive at Trabzon Airport in the morning, after meeting with the guide you will go to Sumela Monastery. After parking the tour vehicle at the hillside of the hill where the monastery was built, you have lunch in a restaurant and then walk for 30 minutes on a narrow walkway covered with pine trees. After visiting the monastery, you can go to Trabzon and spend the rest of the day freely. Overnight in Trabzon.
Before going to Atatürk Museum you will visit Ayasophia Church. When your visitations are completed in Trabzon you will set out to go to Rize and the Black Sea will accompany you on the road. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit a tea factory and go back to Trabzon. Overnight in Trabzon.
On your way to Erzurum, you will leave the Black Sea coast and go to the inner regions. When you arrive at Erzurum, you will have lunch. The city is Turkey’s highest city with 1853 m altitude. More importantly, the best examples of Selcuk architecture can be seen here. After visiting Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Rüstem Pasha Bedesten, Ulu Mosque, and Double Minaret Madrasa, we will check in the hotel where you will spend the night. Overnight in Erzurum.
You will go to Ani after breakfast. The history of Ani dates back to the 5th Century. It became the capital of Armenia in 806. You will go to the center of Kars in order to visit Kars Castle after completing your visitations in Ani. You will stay in Kars Hotel where Nobel Prized author Orhan Pamuk wrote his book, Snow. Overnight in Kars.
Today you will visit İshak Pasha Palace. The palace was built in the late 18th Century. Later you will go to the south of Van. Next, you will visit Ararat where the Ark of Noah landed.
Ararat has 2 hills: Greater Ararat (5165 m) and Little Ararat (3925 m). You will visit Muradiye waterfalls on the way. Overnight in Kars
You will visit Van Castle and Museum after an enjoyable breakfast. Later, you will have lunch in a local restaurant and you will see Hosap Castle and Cavustepe. Overnight in Van.
You will get up early and visit the Akdamar Church. On the way, you will visit Hasankeyf, the capital of the Artuklu Seljuks in the period 1102-1232. It is known for its structure and ruins. The ruins on both sides of the Tigris River will be flooded after the completion of the Ilisu Dam. Although the original founders of the settlement are unknown, the researchers state that nearby caves were also used in prehistoric times. Overnight in Midyat.
We leave Midyat and drive to Mardin over the Tigris Bridge. You will visit the Mar Gabriel Monastery on the hillside of Mardin. We will stop for lunch at Mardin, then we will travel a little more to Şanlıurfa, where you will spend the night. Overnightin Şanlıurfa.
It is hard to believe that this small settling was once an important economical, religious and cultural center.
When we finish Harran’s visitation, we will go back to Sanliurfa in order to see Abraham’s Pool and his birthplace. You will have lunch in a local restaurant. Later, you will see the most important place on this tour: Göbeklitepe. The excavations have been continuing without interruption since 1995. It shows that Göbeklitepe is a cult center built by humanity and dated 12,000 years ago. It consists of approximately 20 round and oval structures reaching 30 m in diameter. 6 of them have been identified in excavations and others in geomagnetic causes. Excavation and research results have shown that Göbeklitepe is a large meeting center. There are monumental structures built for daily living spaces and ceremonial purposes. Overnight in Sanliurfa.
After breakfast, you will go to Sanliurfa. You will have lunch in Sanliurfa. Next, you will go to Kahta. You will be able to stop in order to have fresh air. Before 500 meters of walking, you will visit the majestic tomb monument of Antiochus I. In the evening we will take you to your hotel. Overnight in Kahta.
Today you are making a long but enjoyable trip to Cappadocia; the land of fairies. On the way, we will stop at Kahramanmaraş, a city famous for its ice cream. You will walk the streets of the city and visit the Archeology Museum. You will have lunch at a local restaurant and continue driving along the Silk Road. Overnight in Cappadocia.
You will see the Dervent valley where the rock formations of Cappadocia are magnificent. A walk through the Zelve Open Air Museum, a journey to the past with troglodyte houses. This is the oldest settlement in Cappadocia and one of the last abandoned monastery settlements. After Zelve, you will visit the “fairy chimneys” of Paşabağ, where the sound of the wind is compatible with the songs of the fairies. Then you will see the traditional ceramic workshop in Avanos, the center of terracotta art since 2000 BC. After lunch in Avanos, you will visit the famous Göreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. You will visit rock churches with frescoes and paintings from the 10th century. We will complete the tour by visiting Uçhisar Kaya Castle. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Our first stop is a typical Cappadocian village with different styles of rock tombs and frescoes. You will see Soganli Valley. It is an open-air museum in a natural environment. After that, you will pass through pristine Cappadocian villages surrounded by mountains to go to Mustafapasha. On the way, you will visit Keslik Monastery, near Cemil village. Its frescoes can only be seen with torch light. After lunch in an old Greek house hosted by a local family in Mustafapasha, you will go to the center of the world with a trip to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia’s many settlements. Drop off at the airport and fly back to Istanbul pick up from Airport. Overnight in Istanbul.
The last day is your free day. We will transfer you to the Istanbul Airport.

There are so many adventures waiting for you, by reservation, 30% of the total cost is due once the trip and cost have been approved by both parties. The full amount may also be paid at this time. The remaining balance is due upon arrival/check-in. This applies to any of the seasons and guarantees the trip.
For Travel Agencies
Moonstar Tour requires full payment of the tour at the time of reservation once the trip and cost have been approved by both Moonstar Tour and the Travel Agency. This applies to any of the seasons and guarantees the blocking of the trip.
The deadline for canceling a reservation is as follows:
If payment is made and the customer, due to outside circumstances, cannot make the trip, the reservation can be postponed, without penalty charges, and can be rescheduled at a later date. No changes can be made to the original reservation upon rescheduling.
Deadlines for cancellation with a refund: One (1) week prior to the date of your tour
Last Minute Cancelations
Full payments or deposits will not be reimbursed for last-minute cancellations by either direct customers or travel agencies.
In the event of a No-Show by either a Direct Customer or Travel Agency, no refund shall be given.
In case of fortuitous events or Acts of God, management will assess the situation and decide upon a course of action. If a reimbursement or discount is agreed upon, the amount will return within the time specified by management. The Direct Customer or Travel Agency is responsible for all/any bank charge that may apply to the transaction.
Reservations will be guaranteed within the down payment for Direct Customers or full payment for Travel Agencies. We accept electronic money transfers, bank deposits, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

After verifying the information, our sales staff will book the reservation.
For reservations during High Season, fifteen (15) business days are required to allow for payment processing after the final quote is agreed upon.
For reservations during the Low Season, five (5) business days are required to allow for payment processing after the final quote is agreed upon.
All confirmed reservations with our office, for both Travel Agencies and Direct Customers, will be sent an e-mail containing the trip description, the total cost with the down payment reflected, and a copy of our company policy in regards to cancellation, no show, date changes, etc.
The process for refunding a deposit is as follows:
In the event of a refund, the Direct Customer or Travel Agency is responsible for covering any bank charges. 10% of the total payment will be withheld to cover this cost.
The Customer or Travel Agency must submit a written request for a refund along with the reason(s) for the reservation cancellation. Please specify the account number to which the money shall be refunded and the name under which the reservation was made.
Please allow 5 to 8 business days to process the refund request.
If the cancellation of the reserve corresponds to an event, it will be done according to the specifications and conditions agreed by both parties in the contract.
