Itinerary:
Day 1: Kaklik Cave and Pamukkale.
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Izmir and transferred to Pamukkale. Once arrived the tour will start as we will visit Kaklik cave. The cave is the little cousin of Pamukkale and will give you an idea of what to expect in Pamukkale. There is plenty of thermal water in the cave, which is clear, colorless, and sulfuric. In the entrance area of Kaklik Cave, common moss, and small-leaved ivy plants are growing cause of the constantly dripping and flowing walls. After that, we drive in the direction of Pamukkale. The place allows you to explore 2 famous ancient sites ” Necropolis & Hierapolis ”. And walk over the white travertines and pools. Pamukkale is famous for its white cascades of calcium springs. There are 17 hot water springs in Pamukkale. When the hot spring waters come up to the surface, they lose the carbon dioxide in the water, and calcium bicarbonate subsides to shape the beautiful white cascades of Pamukkale. It is worth seeing a natural site, an eye candy. You can walk through Pamukkale and even find a chance to relax in the hot water of the ancient pool. After the tour drops off at your hotel for an overnight in Pamukkale.
Day2: Arrival in Antalya and Half Day Antalya City Tour
Early morning option to make the Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon flight.
Pick up between 07:30 am – 08:30 am from your hotel in Pamukkale and depart for Antalya City Tour. After about 4 hour drive, we will reach Antalya and start our tour with Old City (Kaleici). Here we will see and walk around Marina Clock Tower, Hadrian's Gate, which is one of the symbols of Antalya, The broken Minaret, and Hidirlik Tower which is a landmark tower of tawny stone in Antalya. During the tour, our guide will take you to nice panorama spots like Karaalioglu Park where you can take the perfect photos of the Mediterranean Sea and the Bay of Antalya. Next, we will have free time for lunch. With the effect of the snow in the Taurus Mountains, there are many streams in the region that aim at finding their way into the Mediterranean, and therefore more than twenty waterfalls were formed around Antalya and The Duden Waterfalls which we will be visiting after lunch is one of the most beautiful examples of them. After the tour, transfer to Antalya to catch your plane direction Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul Transfer back to your hotel.
