What to expect during the 6-Day Istanbul Islamic Sahabe Excursion?
Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul
Upon your arrival at the Istanbul airport, you will be picked up and accompanied and will be transferred directly to your hotel. Your guide will give you all information you need. The rest of the day is yours.
Day 2: Istanbul Old City Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a tour of the Old City. You will be visiting the Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome Square, and Grand Bazaar in the morning part of the trip. After lunch, you will visit Topkapi Palace and Hagia Irene. At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Day 3: Bursa Tour
Early morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and then cross to the Asian Side of Istanbul by driving through the Bosphorus bridge, which has a stunning view. We will get on a ferry on the Asian side of Istanbul to Yalova. You will have a great voyage to take photos of the amazing sea views. We will visit Green Mosque and Green Tomb. Then we will climb up the mountain by cable car. The journey by Cable Car in which you can find the city under your feet and see lots of tree species in the forest will take 15 minutes and you will want to take photos every second. We will have lunch on the mountain with a barbecue. After lunch, we will go up the top of a mountain by bus which is 2.486 meters above sea level. Next, You will see an amazing old tree that is more than 600 years old. After the tour, you will drive back to Istanbul, dropping off at your hotel in the evening.
Day 4: Morning Bosphorus Cruise, Beylerbeyi Palace Tour
After breakfast, you will have a half-day Bosphorus Cruise. You will visit: Golden Horn (from the bus), Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), and then have a boat cruise on Bosphorus by public boat. You will also view the Imperial Gardens of Royal Yildiz Palace, Ciragan Palace Hotel Kempinski, and Beylerbeyi Palace during the tour. After the cruise, you will have lunch at a restaurant, then cross to the Asian Side visiting Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer palace fort of the Ottoman Sultans, and a guesthouse for important state visitors in Ottoman times. Then you will visit Camlica Hill, exposing a panoramic view of Istanbul and the Bosphorus from the best point of view. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel
Day 5: Princes’ Islands Tour
After breakfast, we will take the ferry to one of the Prince’s Islands, Buyukada (Big Island), which served as a place of exile for princes in the past. Leaving the Golden Horn you will go around Sarayburnu (Seraglio Point), the peninsula on which the domes and minarets of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque can be seen. Upon arrival to the island, you will see the lavish Ottoman mansions and other beautiful Victorian-style summer villas around the island by electricity car carriage tour – on one of the islands this is the only allowed means of transport, motor vehicles are strictly prohibited. There are colorful fruit trees, beautiful gardens, forest areas, and exotic flowers to be seen everywhere.
