Our Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon (Standard) flight begins in the early morning hours, with a transfer from your hotel. At the take-off site, you will meet the pilots and instructors who are in charge of the flight. At first, you will receive detailed and important information and instructions. As the pilots get ready for the flight, you can watch their preparations and snap some photos.
For the Hot Air Balloon Flight, you will enter a basket that can host up to 16 participants. Your flight with a Hot Air Balloon is a great opportunity to observe Cappadocia during the dawn and unfold its exceptional natural beauty. From the basket, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, as the balloon flies above Cappadocia’s valleys. Hence, get your camera ready to capture these unique moments.
At the highest altitude, you will also witness the most charming and iconic sunrise you’ve ever seen! As the sun starts to rise, the warm colors of its light will reflect on the lunar landscapes of the valleys below. The rock formations, the fairy chimneys, as well as the warm reflections of the sunlight, create an exceptionally unique atmosphere, that is ready to take your breath away.
The flight has an approximate duration of one hour. However, it can be subject to weather conditions. The pilot is about to land the Hot Air Balloon safely and smoothly, at the landing site, where members of the team wait to provide technical assistance. Want more? This experience is not over yet! Upon landing, you will toast and enjoy a drink, in order to celebrate your special experience. To make this activity a long-lasting memory, you will also receive your personalized flight certificates. By the end of the celebration, the bus will transfer you back to your hotel.
When: We have 2 flights around sunrise, first takes off before sunrise, and the second take off 30 minutes after the first flight so just after sunrise. The perfect time of the day to get some great snaps of the valleys and other balloons in the air. Sometimes, we might have to wait due to weather conditions.
