The Seven Churches of Asia as stated in the Book of Revelation are Ephesus, Pamukkale, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. The tour includes the seven churches mentioned in the Bible. Seven Churches of the Apocalypse also known as the Seven Churches of Asia and refer to the Roman province of Asia, not the entire continent, which are the seven largest churches of early Christianity. These are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.

What to expect during The Seven Churches of Revelation Tour?
Day 1: Ephesus and Laodicea
Our team will meet you at Izmir airport or at your hotel in Izmir or Kusadasi. Today you will visit the Ephesus ruins, Odeon, Celcus Library, and Theater, which are still used for concerts and have a capacity of 25,000 people. The marble-paved streets of the city will give you a hint of wealth. Then you can visit the House of the Virgin Mary and participate in special celebrations. After the lunch break, the journey to Laodicea will begin and you will visit Laodicea, another city where Christianity spreads. At the end of the day, we drive in the direction of Pamukkale where we will stay for the night.
Day 2: Pamukkale, Sardis and Philadelphia
Early morning you do have the option to make the Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon or the Pamukkale Paragliding. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and you will go to Pamukkale. You will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis and St. Philip’s Cemetary. You can visit the travertines of Pamukkale. Hot thermal sources of calcium are poured onto the edge of the plateau and form the travertines of Pamukkale.
You will see Hierapolis ruins which were home to Papias, Epictetus, and Evangelist Philip. The St. Philip Martyrdom, an octagonal room, was recently discovered. You will have free time to enjoy the thermal water. Next, you will go to beautiful Sardis.
Later you will visit Philadelphia which was Paul and John’s favorite city. After the visit, you will travel directly to Kusadasi and you will arrive at your hotel in the evening.
Day 3: Smyrna, Bergama & Thyatira
After breakfast, we do start our tour where you will see the Church of Izmir (Symrna). It was one of the seven Christian churches in Asia Minor to which St. John the Divine wrote (Revelation l-11). After Symrna our team will take you to Pergamum. After arriving at the Pergamon antique city, you will visit Aesculapius, the ancient medical center built in the name of Aesculapius, the God of medicine. You will continue to Pergamum Acropolis, you will visit Athena and Trojan Temples – the Temple of Zeus – the Temple of Dionysus – the Gymnasium of Youth – the Odeon – The library – Agora – the Great Theatre – and the Roman Bath. At the end of the tour, our team will take you to Izmir airport or Hotel in Izmir or Kusadasi.
