What to expect during the 12-day Turkish Turquoise Dream Package?

Day 1: Istanbul – Arrival Day

Meeting with a member of our team at Istanbul Airport and getting the transfer to the hotel. You can relax or explore the region by yourself for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour

The Istanbul city tour package will start at the Old City after a delicious breakfast. Hippodrome is the main rota that was inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List in 1985 and the living heritage of both Byzantines and Ottomans can be seen. Around Sultanahmet, The German Fountain -which was gifted by German Emperor Wilhelm II in 1898-, and the Obelisk of Theodosius – nearly 3,500 years old, were brought to the Hippodrome by Theodosius from the Temple of Karnak about in 390- can be seen. Serpent Column -considered that it was at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi before- and the Column of Constantine that was brought from Apollon temple in Rome are other highlighted sites of the tour.

Day 3: Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Flight to Izmir / Kusadasi

An amazing Istanbul Bosporus Boat tour will be waiting for you after breakfast. On the shoreline, you will witness the imposing view of old wooden villas, palaces, fortresses, and small fishing villages. The Ottoman palaces Dolmabahce, Yildiz, Ciragan, and Beylerbeyi will admire for their elegant architecture with a warm welcome. Ortaköy with its iconic view and Rumeli Fortress which is a well-designed military architecture will be next. After a lunch break in a Turkish restaurant the Grand Spiece Bazaar where you can find authentic goods such as Turkish tastes, Turkish coffee, exotic spices, herbs, and handicrafts. The tour ends with transportation to İstanbul Airport for a domestic flight to İzmir. Transfer from Izmir Airport and check in to the hotel in Kuşadası.

Day 4: Kusadasi – Ephesus Tour – Turkish Village Sirince

After breakfast, our tour starts in Ephesus. Ephesus ancient city is a 9000 years old city that houses The biggest temple dedicated to Artemis The Artemision which is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. This guided tour will focus the Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library, and Grand theatre House of the Virgin Mary with details on this outstanding example of a Roman port city.

Sirince village’s local 19th-century architecture is well preserved and the village in its reputation goes beyond the borders of the country İzmir. It is famous for its homemade wines that are specially made from different kinds of fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, melons, and strawberries. Here the tour includes wine tasting and learning how to make fruit wine in the wine houses. Plus handicrafts made by local women can be bought and a very famous leather production center will be the next stop. At the end of the tour, we drive in the direction of Pamukkale. Check-in at the hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 5: Pamukkale Tour – Fethiye

You do have the option to fly above Pamukkale by hot air balloon in the early morning. After breakfast, we will move to the world-famous marvel of calcite travertines in Pamukkale. Before walking or swimming in Pamukkale’s travertine pools we will have a lunch break. Walking around white calcium terraces and lying in the natural, hot springs’ waters will renew your body. The region at the same time has well-known textile products that and there will be an outlet shopping chance. After the tour, we drive to Fethiye.

Day 6: Explore Dalyan (Kaunos ) – Iztuzu Beach

After breakfast, we will visit the picturesque village of Dalyan and discover its gems by boat. Sail through the reeds delta to the ancient city of Kaunos, sea amazing King Rock Tombs, swim and relax at the spectacular Turtle Beach, and have a mud bath.

Day 7: Explore Saklikent – Tlos – Yakapark Tour

Tour starts after our breakfast and drives to the mountain road of Antalya, to Saklikent Gorge which is 50 km away from Fethiye.
During the day, we will visit the ruins of Tlos city which was a Lycian city and the settlement here is 4000 years old. The city is ruined but historians and archaeologists say that the city was one of the most important religious cities of Lycia. The settlement of the city is on the hills and it’s believed in the mythology that Bellerophon lived in Tlos with his flying horse Pegasus and he has a king-type tomb in the necropolis dedicated by citizens of Lycia.
After the mystic air of Tlos, we will go to a trout farm in Yaka village, handmade heaven full of water gardens and traditional restaurants. Lunch of fresh trout (or chicken) and a large selection of salads and mezze will be waiting for us here.
And the famous gorge! Saklikent! Saklikent gorge is the second-longest gorge in Europe. We have to warn you before you get into the water! It’s icy cold! You can jump into the water and explore the canyon by yourself.

Day 8: Explore Kas – Kekova

Continue on to the seaside village of Kas. Here you’ll see charming whitewashed houses covered in bougainvilleas as well as an ancient Greek theatre. Sample the local cuisine and enjoy the night in the town’s quaint center. After the tour, we drive in the direction of Kekova.

Day 9: Explore Kekova – Demre

After breakfast, we will drive to Kekova and embark on a boat cruise around the local islands… Hailing from the small village of Ucagiz on the Turkish Mediterranean Coast they married young, bought a boat, and went fishing. Like a lot of our oceans, their home became a victim of overfishing to new and modern methods of reaping the perfect catch. They had a boat, and they had one of the best cooks in the district so they set out to share their love of the sea and their love of food.

Day 10: Explore Myra – St.Nicholas – Phaselis

It is the Lycian town of Myra, the home of Saint Nicholas of Myra, the historical man later developed into the figure of Santa Claus.
Myra was one of the most important cities in ancient Lycia. Coins have been found dating back to 300 BC. The city thrived as part of the Roman Empire and many public buildings were built that you will be able to explore. Then drive to Antalya before arriving at Antalya to visit Phaselis ancient city.
Phaselis Ancient City, founded in 693 BC, was an important port city in history. This port city has a rich history and is crucial for its ruins, historical amphitheater, aqueduct, agora, and baths.
The remains of the ancient city of Phaselis start at the seashore. The ancient port city is covered with pine and cedar trees and even on the hottest days of summer can be visited in comfort. There is a well-preserved theatre that is used for evening performances during the Phaselis Art Days. At the end of the tour, we drive back to Antalya.

Day 11: Antalya Tour

The day will start with a great breakfast. Antalya is a city where the sea, sun, beach, forest, and coves are made an attractive location to live in throughout history. Many civilizations live and left a historical treasure behind them. Kaleici is an old city where you can trace the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods. Hadrian’s Gate was built in the name of Roman Emperor Hadrian, Yivli Minaret Complex, Gıyaseddin Keyhusrev Madrasah, Selçuklu Madrasah, Zincirkıran Turbah, Nigar Hatun Turbah, Karartay Madrasa, Historical Marina are pieces of this treasure that will be visited during the tour. Plus the Karaalioglu Park reflects the flora of Antalya and the Hidirlik Tower can be seen in Kaleici The Duden Waterfalls will be the next stop to relax and be enchanted by its stunning view.

Day 12: Antalya – Istanbul – End of Tour

This remarkable tour ends with departing for Antalya Airport for a domestic flight to Istanbul or an International flight in the early morning.
