Avanos, pottery holds a long history dating back to the era of the Hittite Empire. Once you enter the workshop, expect to immerse yourself in its mystical atmosphere, which allows a journey back in time. The people working there, are about to welcome, and tour you around the facility. More precisely, they will show you the equipment they use, and explain the ancient techniques that managed to survive until today. To get a complete understanding of this extremely important craftsmanship technique, the pottery makers are going to demonstrate how to produce a ceramic. Our Cappadocia Pottery Making Experience lasts for, almost, one hour and 30 minutes. While there, and once the demonstration is over, you can visit the workshop’s shop, and see their collection.
