What to expect during the 8 Days Aegean Blue Cruise Excursion?
Day 1: Pick up Izmir and Ephesus Tour
After your arrival in İzmir, you will go to Ephesus. You will visit Greco-Roman Ephesus City, one of the best-preserved ancient Roman cities in the world. Then you will go to the House of the Virgin Mary. It is believed that she had spent her last days here. This is a sacred place for Christians. After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Artemis and the Greek Wine Village, Sirince. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 2: Pamukkale Tour / Travel to Fethiye
After breakfast, we leave for Pamukkale UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its travertines. Lunch will be in an open buffet restaurant. Then you will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, right next to the white terraces, with the Temple of Apollo, Theater, Necropolis, Cleopatra pool, and thermal baths where the famous Roman general Mark Antony stayed for his honeymoon. After the Pamukkale tour, you will go to Fethiye. When you arrive in Fethiye, our team will take you to your hotel on the beach.
Day 3: Fethiye – St.Nicholas Island
Early morning You will be picked up from your hotel to board the gulet. After swimming and having lunch, you will go to Butterfly Valley and Samanlık Bay depending on the sea conditions. This natural reserve is home to 136 kinds of butterflies and moths. You will have a chance to swim here. Then you will go to Ölüdeniz (Blue Lagoon) again depending on the sea conditions. A paragliding option is available. The last stop of the day is St.Nicholas Island with Byzantine ruins. Here you will get plenty of vitamin D, then swim and have your dinner on the boat.
Day 4: St.Nicholas island – Kaş (ON BOARD)
With the sunrise, you will move to Aquarium or Firnaz Bay near Kalkan for breakfast and swimming. You will go to the port for lunch and go to Kas, where you will visit this cute fishing village. Kaş, with its Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi, and Roman theater overlooking the Mediterranean, was once known as the ancient Antiphellos. Then you will swim in a bay near the city of Kekova-Batık and eat dinner on board.
Day 5: Gökkaya bay (ON BOARD)
You will move to the Sunken City of Kekova (this Lycian-Roman archaeological site is protected by UNESCO, so we can only see, entrance is not possible.) You will go to a traditional Turkish fishing village in Simena a Byzantine-Ottoman castle, which has no car access. You will have lunch here. Optional water sports are available in Gökkaya Bay. After dinner, you can relax in the harbor or spend the night at a party at the Smugglers Inn.
Day 6: Transport to Antalya
After breakfast, we drive in the direction of Antalya and you will go to the Pirates Cave (if the sea conditions allow) before heading to the port of Andriace. After the tour, you will be taken back to the beach and transferred to your hotel in Antalya.
Day 7: Perge, Aspendos (ANTALYA)
In the morning you will see the well-preserved Roman city of St. Paul, Roman baths, Gymnasium and Agora. Then you will go to Perge Ancient City, a place in the Bible. You will go to the best-preserved Greco-Roman Amphitheater in Aspendos. On the way back to Antalya, you will stop by the sea, where the temple of Apollo is located.
Day 8: Departure Day
After breakfast, we drop you off at Antalya Airport.
